The battery life of a Samsung Galaxy S8 is as good as what the South Korean multinational conglomerate claims to be. But unfortunately, due to the many available features and the fact that we can’t keep our hands of it, the battery life deteriorates faster than we think.
The good news is there are ways to improve the battery life although the usage is pretty hardcore.
Well, here are some ways.
Enable power saving mode
The power saving mode can be found under Settings >> Device Maintenance >> Battery.
Then, select either Mid or Max depending on how much power you want to save.
Scale down the screen resolution
To scale down the screen resolution, head over to Settings >> Display >> Screen resolution.
If your screen resolution is set to WQHD+, reduce it to FHD+. And if you want to save even more battery, reduce it to HD+.
Reduce the brightness of the screen
Go to Settings >> Display and reduce the screen brightness.
Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection can easily be turned off from the Samsung Galaxy S8’s notification tray.
Close unused apps
Tap on the recent apps icon on the bottom left and close the apps that are unused.
